Last night at Anick's housewarming party she lent me a few graphic novels (and a picture book). Last night I read another graphic novel Tyranny (2009). I didn't hate it, but I much preferred the novel versions of anorexia stories that I have read in the past.
This morning I read Swallow Me Whole which I much much preferred. This book was about schizophrenia (among other things) and I found the ending both troublesome and awesome at the same time. On occasion I had a hard time understanding what was going on, but I think I preferred that to the straightforward and almost comical Tyranny.
So at least I'm getting SOME school work done, albeit not enough. I do have many more to read and deal with this semester though, which is exciting!
