Slowly getting back on track *this transmission interrupted by strange technical errors*…

So it feels good getting back into the groove of things with my daily life in Edmonton. I've been board gaming (went to an excellent Christmas in July party on the weekend) and slowly getting used to a routine of sorts… or at least trying to…

Today (and lately) especially has been a bit weird. My landline base handset rang strangely this morning (no one was calling so I have no idea why) and that woke me up long before I wanted to be awake (though I think I slept okay — I dreamed some pretty vivid dreams though I have no idea what they were of, and well… I'm just happy to be getting some rest what with ridiculous ghost phone calls waking me up. This isn't the first time only one handset has made noise when a call has come in (though I tested them this morning and nothing seems wrong?) but there was no call at all.

And then my computer was being stubborn this morning (but fixed itself on its own?). It seemingly froze, the music which I was playing cut out… then the screens went blank and the music turned back on. Moving the mouse typing on the keyboard and hitting the power button did NOTHING and then as mysteriously as anything else, the computer came back with the windows login screen and things are working splendidly now. I really really don't understand.

Anyway, my goals for the day involve a few errands and some internet catchup so hopefully I accomplish this much at least!
