… just how particular I get about food at times. I don't consider myself a foodie, and certainly when at someone else's home or otherwise, I will usually eat whatever is provided, but left to my own devices I kind of range between eating healthily, eating lazily and eating super randomly. It's kind of strange, really.
Lately though, I've been focusing on trying new things and on eating more fruits and veggies and otherwise healthy foods. It's been an adventure certainly, as I'm constantly discovering that what I expected to enjoy I do not, or that a particular new food isn't something I would really want to eat often.
On the positive note though, I've been learning that I do have some standbys that I've been ignoring for years and now I've been eating them more often — to good ends for the most part! 🙂
In other news (which apparently surprised my brothers this weekend) I apparently like brussel sprouts. I just wish I could make them taste as good as when others make them for me… *shrugs*
