It's Remembrance Day… time to remember

I turned the radio on minutes before 11am this morning — this the llth day of the llth month… and listened to our National anthem, and taps and of course respected the moment of silence that I know that many people do not respect (although many people do). War is now such a presence in North American society's media that I am often saddened by the fact that I see fewer and fewer poppies worn by strangers.

That said, the politics of war do interfere with this symbol so that might be why this is the case.

Anyhow… I ought to go cook and so on for this party.
