So I haven't been typing much in my LJ as of late as for personal stuff.
And realistically, yes I've been busy, but that's not a fair excuse. Sure I've also been mildly stressed, but that's situational, and dissipates fairly easily, given the nature of the beast.
I went to the meetup today… but only one person else had shown up. Kind of odd, but I had only planned to show up for a few minutes… so it wasn't entirely annoying.
To show how bizarre things are as of late: I actually forgot to do some homework-esque things unintentionally. But they weren't actually technically due, so it wasn't an issue. *phew!*
But I'm starting to really appreciate my social life. Sure I need more of it at times, but right now, with me doing something out of the ordinary about once-ish a week, it feels like a good mental break.
Oh, and I now own a couple new writing books: a Harry Potter one and a Shakespeare one. Gotta love the bookstore in HUB for decent deals! 🙂
