Most people who know me, know that I'm pretty darn rule bound at times. Yes, I'm working on the issues inherent in that statement. Yes, I'm improving. I'm not perfect. That said, sometimes a meeting or gathering can USE some rules and regs. In fact, sometimes I finish attending a meeting or event wondering if the occasion would have been better served with some ground rules, or perhaps even Robert's Rules of Order (second edition newly revised… uh… can you tell I've long been a member of service organizations?).
There's a time and a place for everything. And sometimes that time and place is at a meeting or event. Sometimes casual is better suited, but really sometimes rules are darn useful.
In other news, I'm pretty physically exhausted today after a bunch o' hours working on 15% Tuesday. Gotta love 15% Tuesday in September (it's one of the busiest due to everyone going back to school etc.)…. yep.
Oh and I can't wait for YEG Girl Geek Dinner next week! 🙂 So glad to have gotten tickets to learn about Worms in Space! 🙂
