… yesterday JD had me take the side off of my computer. He wanted to see (thanks to my webcam) the inside of it to know whether or not it would be compatible with other gizmos and gadgets — mostly because I'm not terribly knowledgeable about that kind of thing, really. Well, in the process of taking the side off of my computer he remarked that it was designed backwards: the right side is the side that opens rather than the left (which is apparently the 'normal' one to open?)…
It took me forever to figure out how to take a cover off of a slot in the back of the computer.
It was much much easier to plug in my nifty new USB extension cords.
Certainly I have a modicum of skills with relation to computers. I just don't have the ones I apparently sometimes need.
