So while I was chatting with Mike and Doug yesterday I learned two things: 1. it's one incredibly small world sometimes which was further supported by the fact that Mike met a prof through this event we were at that he had previously heard speak… and 2. When Doug gave me the url to his band's website I realized that I have actually seen Doug's band play before (this was before I knew Doug) and well, absolutely loved that concert (I remember 'dancin' by myself and with other volunteers and athletes in a huge field… not caring what I looked like or anything, just that the music rocked my socks and that I wanted to dance — to heck with having partners!). Since then I'd wondered who the band was and wanted to know more about them… well I certainly found the answer! And what better answer could it be, really?
