Updates… and a few quiz answers.

So… my head feels like it's been run over by a cement truck (yay for waterslides and concussions! 😉 ). I'm alive and well and procrastinating my homework. I've called the automated Baggage number a couple times. They haven't found my luggage, which is most worrisome (of course they couldn't recognize the words I said from the automatic voice recognition thing very easily… since when is Edmonton, Alberta the same as Indianapolis, Indiana, or even Mexico?). My agenda is in my baggage… so that's also a slight problem: I don't remember when stuff is happening! *ack!*

In other news, in case you didn't already know: I'm an Orientation Leader this year for Arts. It'll be fun.

The board meeting was a blast: it was great to finally meet so many of the governors that I didn't already know. I got to serve the salmon to the crowd for dinner that first day… and hang out with Ellen's awesome districts in addition to the ones I'm a liaison to already (yay for Rocky Mountain and Kentucky-Tennessee!). The waterslides were fun… although I'm rather out of it as a result… my head STILL hurts… which isn't fun in the least. But hey, I did get to enjoy it. The games room was also fun… even though I got to bleed all over skeeball after it attacked me (yay for them not having bandaids… what's with that? At least first aid dealt fine with my bleeding arm earlier). I picked up 3 wonderful stuffed animals to go with the winningness of Anastasia, Mandy and I. They'll see them eventually.

The concussion thing meant that I got next to no sleep from 8AM Friday until… realistically 4AM or so on Sunday morning. Mind you there's a time difference also… but one hour doesn't make that much of a difference. We went to steak 'n shake a couple times (yay!). That was fun, as were the games of frisbee out by the KI office in the glorious weather. Dave's awesome with the frisbee (I'm NOT). The International Council meeting was pretty reasonable… running late as per usual timing-wise. Governors comments of course did factor into the board meeting occurrences over the next few days.

The coin looks spectacular, as do the pins. I'm totally psyched about the hair loss for our wonderful Kiwanis family leaders. The pre-board, discussion points and actual meeting went smashingly well… for which I'm incredibly pleased. I really enjoyed the fact that people expressed their opinions and weren't afraid to dissent.

So here's a few quizzes that I've had the chance to look through. Tomorrow's my last day of class for the semester, so hopefully I get my homework done!

. . . interesting! Just a bit different than what we've done before!.

You have many friends and may occasionally forget a few birthdays. Don't let your passion confuse you with reality.

(44-50 points) You are Dexter: You are smart and definitely a thinker. Every situation is fronted with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong family principles. Maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes.
