1. WHAT COLOR PANTS ARE YOU WEARING?
Pants? I'm wearing *looks down* Zone C Regionals Lloydminster 1998 shorts. They are grey, mens style and would be too big if it weren't for the elasticized waist. Yep… I was the height of fashion in swim team back in 1998… there's even a matching T-shirt (which I'm not wearing at the moment… I'm wearing a different t-shirt in case you were wondering 😉 ) that says Drink my Wake.
2. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW?
Listening to my roommate and his friend watch Straw Dogs apparently (it's a movie).
3. SOUPS OR SALAD?
Mmmmm… depends on the type of soup and/or salad. In a perfect world I'd have both (I rather like 4 course meals) but since the 3 course variety are much more common (in my life at the moment in any case), I'd go with soup if it's a one I like, or salad also if it's one I like (I used to think Soup… but been to enough things that I'm now undecided… gotta love having those three course plated meals as often as I do… I much prefer them to the buffet style of eating for some odd reason)
4. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE?
Uhh… fast food sushi from my grocery store where I work. Not the greatest thing in the world but they were out of the cream of broccoli soup that I'd been eyeing all day by the time that I was free to go buy some for supper. *sighs*
5. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE?
Hmmm… I like Red. I don't know what shade though. How about Red? Not only is it my favorite colour (and a popular one at that), but it looks darn good when you take it out of the box, etc. *smiles*
6. WEATHER RIGHT NOW?
Whether or not what? 😉 Uh… It's not raining. It feels like fall. It's still August darn it!
7. Last Person you TALKED TO ON THE PHONE?
My good friend Kim I believe. She's one of the few people I have LONNNGG phone conversations with to this very day… not that I don't have them with others… but well, she's a local friend unlike those CKIers (and otherwise) from afar.
8. DO YOU LIKE THE PERSON WHO SENT YOU THIS?
Hmmm… I dunno… he's awfully far away… perhaps I'd like him more if he were to *ACTUALLY* visit my district at some point 😉 No really, of course I do! Would we still be in touch otherwise??
9. HOW ARE YOU TODAY?
I'm doing well, thank you very much. Now when will someone give me one of those most excellent time turners like in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? Will Santa? I've been a good girl, right? 😉
10.FAVORITE DRINK?
Well… there's a lot of good ones… like Steak 'n Shake shakes, Virgin Margheritas, Fruit juice, the most excellent punch from various parties, Skim milk, Booster Juice Smoothies, tea, Ginger Ale, Hot Chocolate, Slurpees, Frosters, Orange Juliuses, Iced Tea (THAT IS SWEETENED!), Sweet Tea is good too!, Root Beer, Water, Chocolate Milk, Egg Nog, etc.
11. FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM?
Well… I rather do like the Golden Bears and the Pandas (the UofA school team) but I'm going to have to go with Team Canada (from the Salt Lake Olympics for example in Hockey, men and women!) in general.
12. EYE COLOR?
Mine are brown. Yepppers… boring ol' brown. And yet, people have said that they're pretty intriguing… Now if only I could ensure that they were open during a higher percentage of photos taken…
13. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS?
Nope. I either wear my glasses or I don't. I've odd eyes, and thus can get by. Mind you, this means that my depth perception is rather shot.
14. SIBLINGS AND THEIR AGES?
One brother that is 19. One brother that is almost 16. Both live at home with my parents (although this is unlikely to last for too much longer as I understand it).
15. FAVORITE FOOD?
Too many great ones to pick one favorite, really. I just like food thank you very much.
16. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED?
Harry Potter and the PHILOSOPHER'S Stone. Yeah… I like that movie. Reminds me of why my mom always thought that *I* was Hermione.
17. FAV! ORITE DAY OF THE YEAR?
Every day that I'm alive and smiling is a good one. Not much to say on this topic, but really it's about the truth.
18. ARE YOU TOO SHY TO ASK SOMEONE OUT?
Uh… apparently not. But never been successful on that score. And would much rather be asked out by someone. But the waiting game is rediculous, and really who's ever going to ask me out who isn't a creepy stalker type or, just plain not a possibility? (if I sound pessimistic, I'm not actually, it's just that that's the experience usually… if only I were more perceptive on matters that involve myself *rolls eyes* Ah well… eventually)
19.SUMMER OR WINTER?
Spring and Fall are best. I couldn't choose between summer and winter: Summer's got the bestest conventions and easiest way of getting there… but winter's got Christmas, and well some rather interesting Winter adventures on average.
20.RELATIONSHIPS OR ONE NIGHT STANDS?
Relationships, thank you very much. Whether romantic, or Platonic, or simply friendships, these are best! 🙂
21. CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA?
Vanilla wins hands down. Chocolate, while great and all, is so mundane. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't mind some good quality Chocolate at times in small quantities (sugar headaches = bad/annoying), but vanilla done right is amazing!
22. DO YOU WANT YOUR FRIENDS TO WRITE BACK?
If they so choose. Most people are likely innundated with these quiz things, as much as I do like them.
23. WHO IS MOST LIKELY TO RESPOND?
Hmmm… I dunno… depends on who's less swamped with these and who hasn't done this particular one before, and who has the time (what time?) and wants to fill it out!
24. LEAST LIKELY?
Probably all of my friends who take stances against ever filling these out… or those who won't read this anyway!
25. LIVING ARRANGEMENT:
Well… I have the same 2-bedroom apt as I've had since the year 2000 when I moved out. my current roommate is moving out this week, and hypothetically my next roommate will move in come Sept sometime, once he's in town. Roommates help pay the bills and let me continue my pursuit of excellence/school things/CKI/working at my job/doing so much service etc.
26. WHAT BOOKS ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
Uhhh… I'm not reading any books currently. Books = bad. Why? 'cause I get NOTHING accomplished when I'm stuck in a good book. Mind you I adore reading… but given that my ENTIRE school year will be READING and WRITING, I can wait until that starts to worry about it.
27. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD?
My mouse (fancy that!) also the University of Alberta Libraries logo etc.
28. WHAT DID YOU DO LAST NIGHT?
Had a meeting on campus, left 3hrs early, came home for meeting on phone, went back to meeting on campus, went back home (note that each travel from home to and/or from campus was a half hour (or longer) walk) went online again.
29. CAN YOU TOUCH YOUR NOSE WITH YOUR TONGUE?
Nope. I'm not a lizard. That's not the type of stupid human trick that I'm capable of (although I dunno what I WOULD be capable of!)
30. WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Uhhh… a lot of things: Anastasia does, Josh does, Pete does, the International Board does, Kiwanis does, my fave authors do, a good book does, good movies do, my brother does (sometimes), my parents do (sometimes), and my other friends (sometimes)… etc.
31. POPCORN, BUTTERED OR SALTED?
Well… Buttered is nice… and salted is too… but I rather like what Anastasia first introduced me to: Salt 'n Vinegar popcorn I believe it was.
32. FAVORITE CAR?
I like classic cars. But really I'd prefer a good ol' friendly flying dragon any day of the week
33. FAVORITE FLOWERS?
Non-dead ones. (I'm not a green thumb though). Roses are pretty to dance with in teeth (memories, dear memories… *tears*), and well… ones that smell repulsive aren't fun flowers. I'm not very particular when it comes to flowers though. Venus Flytraps are fun though. And Cactus Flowers too. I'm not a big flowers person though… so whatever.
34. HOW MANY KEYS ON YOUR KEY RING?
Since the person who sent me this listed his:
One for my building door, one for my apt door, one for my mailbox, one for my suitcase, one for my parent's house's door, which makes 5 I guess. but really that's on two key rings (both mine).
35. CAN YOU JUGGLE?
Objects: no. Tasks: yeppers! Almost always multitasking whilst online.
36. WHO WOULD YOU HATE TO BE TRAPPED IN A ROOM WITH ?
Well… honestly, people who are incredibly unkind would not make the best people to be trapped in a room with (eg. some people from my youth). I'd list more options, but I'm not getting myself in trouble now
7UP OR SPRITE?
Mmmm… either really. Both are yummy… but GingerAle is better. Sprite has good extra varieties (like Sprite Remix) also. I would expect that 7up does too.
38. COFFEE?
I HATE COFFEE. Even Coffee Crisp is repulsive to me. And all those coffee flavoured desserts. YUCK! (some people wonder how I made it through a whole entire degree without coffee consumption. But whatever… now if only I could manage to stay awake during ALL my classes this year, and perhaps not fall asleep (AGAIN) in an important meeting, I'll be pleased)
39. FAVORITE PERFUME / cologne?
No clue. Don't use, and don't often appreciate. Too often repulsive.
40. DOGS OR CATS?
Uhh… well Cats are good from experience. Evil Dogs = bad. Nice dogs are good.
41. FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT?
I dunno. I need to do more travel to figure that out. Currently I rather like visiting CKI locales… the city of my birthplace in BC, places I've never been before, and well… yeah… lots of great places like my Grandparents' house. *sighs*
